The city witnessed another interesting event yesterday when a local BJP leader was caught red handed when he was trying to sell gomutra as an alternative drink to alcohol. Police reported that the leader had given them a whole explanation as to how properly fermenetized gomutra acts as a substitute of alcohol. He also demanded that he frequently used to take a sip of Gomutra during his training days as a BJP cadre. Local inhabitants who found the leader selling Gomutra also demanded that they had seen few people becoming drunk after taking a sip of the yellowish liquid.
That BJP leader has further stated that his move is in the interest of developing the Indian economy. If “Gomutra” can be fed in this way, the economy of the country will be better and the common people will refrain from drinking alcohol. The police have not taken any further steps in this regard as they have said that the common people have deliberately drank “Gomutra”, and they have not been misunderstood. But they will set up an inquiry committee to find out why “Gomutra” is making people drunk after being consumed.
